Can I still get a rebate?
Originally posted by headup We're trying to figure that out to make sure as many people as possible have something to send. Right now - I'm looking at the barcode on the UT2003 pack (original - not copy) for UT2003 (sorry - you'll have to mutilate your pack.). Reason for this is that I imagine most of you have long since lost/binned your receipt for UT2003 and we can't ask for your manual cover as it has the key code printed on it.
As for proof of purchase for UT2004 - we'll need a clean, clear copy of your receipt.
So - you'll send in a voucher that's enclosed in the UT2004 pack, the barcode from the UT2003 pack and a copy of your UT2004 receipt.
Then we'll send out a $10 check.

being **** helps sometimes
I still have ALL my cases, even my atari 2600 games cases
mostly i install and the repak them and put them away
2k3 case is in great shape because its hardly been touched:haha:
i dont have mine, we moved and it wouldve been too much of a hastle to keep it, i wonder if the would let me send in my entire 2003 manual or somethin because i dont need that old cd key, but i do need the money.

Discussion regarding the UPC requirement for the UT2k4 rebate...
I am just as excited as the next person about UT2k4. The rebate and packaging details released this morning made my week. Sure, the press release was delayed long enough, but I suppose good things come to those that wait.
On to my concern: How can Epic expect people to save their game boxes for a rebate more than a year later? I saved my box (in fact, I even brought it with me to college just to pin it up on my wall ), but for those who didn't should they be able to mail in their UT2k3 discs as a proof of purchase? Or perhaps submit their serials?
