    UT 2004 Registry Fixer

I made a Registry Fixing program for UT2004. Mainly because I wanted to learn C# and have a goal in mind since I don't like to do pointless projects that are never used. I would like some input as to what else the program needs or could be changed to improve it. Thanks!

Quick update about Vista x32/x64 and UT2004 Registry Fixer.

I got a few emails lately so I thought I would post the issue and fix. RegFixer still works in all versions of Vista but *ONLY* in administrator mode. If the app isn't in this mode it doesn't have access rights to write to the registry. Only to read it. So if you right click on the EXE file and select "Run as administrator" the application will work as intended.

At some point when I make my multi-game restorer (aka Deep Freeze) this will be fixed so it asks for admin rights before starting.

It wont let me download it, I get this error

            "Forbidden
            Remote Host: [10.11.96.101]

You do not have permission to access http://spaz.s5.com/UT2K4RegFIX-1.1.zip
Data files must be stored on the same site they are linked from.

            Thank you for using FreeServers"

Looks like a good program though....

Hey thanks, that just came in real handy. Somehow I had messed up my UT directory so Windows no longer recognized .ut4mods, this fixed it.

since its a small file and I have enough bandwith for a few 1000 downloads of thit small tool...

I can mirror it for awhile if you want, but can only get maybe 5000 downloads off it.

I'm writing something else for UT2004 to learn C# :weird: Freaky.

Nice program, I'll download it in case my registry ever gets screwed up.

I think as small as the program is I got all the bandwidth at FreeServers I will need, around 8000 downloads , but it has some problems with direct linking of files. I think some firewalls like Norton will make it do that. Not sure thought. But I will look into fasterfiles.

Also I have no problem with people hosting the file. Its freeware and can be passed around anyway you want. Just make sure the Text file and MD5 file are in there too.
