    Catalyst 4.8 Finals

    They appear to be out...
    Let's see if they improve any of this stuttering on my Radeon (though I'm not entirely hopeful).

    Apparently, the main function of these is to improve OpenGL, along with fixing some other random bugs.

        Does this one include the Doom3 optimizations... Like the Beta 4.9's that are floating around?

          No, but they are slightly better than the 4.7's, or so I've been told. I don't actually have DOOM myself, so I couldn't tell you.

                        In theory, you should uninstall. I've never had any problems not doing so though.

                          Yes, you have to uninstall old catalysts or terrible things can happen. Best bet would be to use this : http://www.driverheaven.net/cleaner/

                          Another reason why I prefer Omega's. They automatically clean up the older install when you install new ones. :up:
