So I was uploading to usenet and removed my upload cap (set so I can still have full dl) And I noticed these wacky speeds!

I don't know if it's because I'm uploading to a *** server, or because I'm so close to it, but WOW! Those are KB/s not Kb/s

Your download speed : 4546840 bps, or 4440 kbps.
                    A 555 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 542348 bps, or 529 kbps.

Seems like there are others too who are getting 4440 kbps/529 kpbs from that test. I have the same results - and I'm paying for a 1024/512 connection and I'm sure it IS 1024/512 since I just cant really download much above 100 kbps. So wtf is this, I ask you? :bulb:

                    a bug, maybe?...

If CPU usage apporach 100% windows will slow down the seconds in the KB/s calculation... (alowing more packets in during a "second") meaning you can get silly figures since it actualy dont count KB/s...

I'v gotten 1GB/s+ once... ran UT2004 Adaware and a download at the same time... (wasn't that fast ofcourse)
