    [OT] Can MS IIS 5 run PHP files?
    I'm trying to install the phpBB2 forum on my Microsoft Internet Information Services 5 server. Can IIS run PHP-files?

    yes, but i'm sure what you want is IIS6 or apache windows

        As long as you have PHP installed, IIS should work with it. However, if you're not good at stuff you might want to install the PHP package and then IIS so php will already be integrated into it (extentions properties etc.) and you won't have to do it yourself. However, I also think that if you're not turned off by the prospect of controlling your server from a text file instead of a nice GUI, you should try Apache instead.

              get the newest binary installer, and run it. It'll configure IIS to use it. thanks.
