Wireplay 1v1 Knockout Cup

Bah I gave up playing 'competitively' a long time ago for this game. I can't say I can boast of or at least be confident of my skills like I used to. Whats odd is that I have actually improved, but I just don't wanna do competitions. Unfortunately I now lead a busy life at university. Also, I don't practice much. Even tho my air rox work a treat at times

I wouldn't mind checkin out the servers though. Seems like there is some great competition!

You guys better hope Lauke doesn't show up
Oh and ofcourse Azzurres. He's pretty good at 1v1

If the tournament consists of players who are 'less skilled' than those guys, then I would stand a chance.

BTW, I must say, Boksha and 7d.Killabee actually stand a good chance. Even tho killabee is a bit of an arrogant *****. Oh almost forgot about MessyCool. He is quite good aswell

How about you release a litle more info about the rules map-pool etc.? This sounds like fun but I won´t signup to a tourney where I don´t know the rules. Especially the maps would be interesting to know. And ofcourse what´s up with TTM and TWM?

all further discussion regarding rules etc will happen at wireplay not on here, as this isnt the place to discuss it.

I am already a member of the WirePlay community - I have not been active because there are no leagues to speak of (CTF, iCTF and TDM all failed in spectacular fashion). The wireplay forums are barely active too.

My clan took part in the iCTF league and won div 3. I even adminned some NW CTF matches during this time. (well, 1 match in truth - FCE2 vs Ci - the others were either noshows or cancellations - it was a real mess).

So I was active before it all fell apart. There just is no incentive to become active again when my favourite gametype is not even supported.

if enuff ppl request a 1v1 iDM server on the WIREPLAY forum, then i'll be more than happy to see if i can accomodate one, but so far no-ones ever requested one....

Quite frankly, I don't see how the present level of activity justifies two 1v1 NW DM servers: server #1 & server #2 - very few games per day.

Quite frankly, i dont see anyone comming to me either on irc on in the forums asking for a 1v1 idm server. If you were to ask for one in the proper manner, and with enuff ppl to back up your request, then chances are you'd get what your asking for.

back on topic, as this has nothing to do with this thread, are you taking part in the 1v1 cup?? if so move over to the wireplay forums plz.

My argument is that you have 2 NW DM servers and 1 for the other gametypes except 1v1 iDM. I suspect that this is because you prefer the NW gametype, or the people in your channel do, which is perfectly fine, however up until now those two servers have hardly been used.

I am therefore making an official request to you that one of them be redesignated as an 1v1 IG server, and will post the request to you in irc later tonight and on the WirePlay forums too. The only question is then how many people do i need to get to back it up?

As for your knockout cup, it appears to be a 1v1 NW cup, so no, I am not interested in participating.

However, if you are willing to host a 1v1 IG Knockout cup too, I will definitely participate and help out anyway I can (admin/etc).
