Most people say WinAmp, but it has no support for virtual 5.1 (onboard sound cards use this for 5.1 speakers), so I avoid it like the plague. WMP9 is working fine for me, fast and does the job, don't know why so many people have a problem.

Anyone know any way to offset music in any video player?
So annoying when the sound comes 2 sec before or after when its supposed to...

Real Alternative + Quicktime Alternative + Media Player Classic =

If you are really hardcore do what I do and use MPlayer (a linux media player with windows versions). It has to be the most technically superior player available..anywhere.

iTunes (for Windows) is good for me. And even better with my iPod.

I mostly use WinAMP5 (Music videos and music (stored or streamed)) and WindowsMedia9 player (most stuff) and mplayer for the stuff WMP cant handle.. And WinDVD for DVD's

                          Agreed.

Media Player Classic and K-Lite Mega Codec Pack for all your encoding, decoding and playing needs. (The K-LMCP already contains MPC so if you download the codec pack, you won't need to go to SourceForge to d/l MPC.)

BSPlayer is good, as is Zoom Player.
