Is anyone bothered that the stats site doesn't even say it's down?

Let me sum up the importance of this thread, so know one has to read the whole thing, except this post:


1) Stats are down.
2) It would have been nice for Epic to INFORM us that the stats were down.
3) Some people don't care for stats.
4) Luckily for them, you can disable stats!
5) Both #3, #4, and #5 were completely irrelevant to this thread, yet made it in anyways!

You can't disable them clientside if the server is set to have them.

And if the stats are down anyway then why should servers that generate stats want to do so since their output is going to the great bitbucket in the sky ... ?

Regardless of anyone's opinion, I seriously think someone should do something about it. But then again, I'm only a customer, and only that, and so just a few peeps from the community won't matter compared to the millions that may have the game.

But seriously, wouldn't it be great to be able to go on to a server that has the stats enabled, and frag away, and even have one of the best games ever, and then go to discover that you've got nothing to brag about? My ego's a bit hungry here, and due for a snack :sulk:
