Why I can't play UT2004 at the office.

System specs:
Dell Pentium III, 930 MHz, 512MB RAM, NVIDIA RIVA TNT2/TNT2 Pro

All settings set to lowest...

Resolution set to 320x240, 16-bit...

And still I only get 5 FPS!

Heh, I used to play UT2003 on a P3 500 MHZ with an ATI RAGE 128, lol and 128 MB of PC100 ram lol, played it on 800x600 with everything on low, but still playable.

I thought 2k4 was optimised!

Heh my housemate has a similar setup and I did the same thing.

I could beat people in deathmatch, provided it was a small level, and I wasn't facing the centre of the level :haha:

Yeah, and to think that 11 years ago (when I was 24), I was perfectly happy with 320x240 graphics...



Bulldog, thanks for the sympathy, but it's cool. I play UT2004 at 1776x1000 (everything set to highest) on my 3GHz P4 on my HTPC at home. Nothing says "sweetness" like a 64" display.



But I thought you guys would get a kick outta that 320x240 screenshot of ONS-Torlan. :haha: So I posted it.
