WW II equals boooooooring. Sure it was nice and refreshing when day of defeat came out, I really enjoyed wolfenstein enemy territory. But now theres just too many WW II games out there, battlefield 1942, Call of duty, Medal of honour,... siiigh it gets old faaaast.

I tried red orchestra not bad if you are really into WWII stuff. But it's not for me, a slow paced game like that set in a boring age, no thanks I'll pass up on it.

Besides if I wanted to play a WWII game I'd reinstall wolfenstein enemy territory again. Its clearly the best WWII game out there IMO.

Now I'm not saying RO is a bad mod or anything if u like WWII stuff U should try it for sure. But if u like fast paced shooting its not for U.

Couldn't get that to work with UT2K3 so I'll probably have the same problem with UT2K4 so no I couldn't care less

Yeah actually I'm into mods too and as u can tell I'm not looking forward to RO either

I look forward to action ut 2K4, hope its as good as the specialists for hl. Hackerz looks nice too, frag ops is going to incorperate dives n stuff too, that could make it very good. Chaos ut has melee, I jus love melee so I wanna try that one too domain 20xx was pretty fun, too bad it didn't have any servers on 2k3.

Hell I think i look forward to anything but RO

Yeah, I'm sad to say that you did forget one option on the poll: "I have already played all the Saving Private Ryan FPS games that I need, thanks."

I'm fairly sure it will be the work of some talented folks, but seriously: WWII is overly played out. It would have been nice has the people working on RO gone down a completely different and unpaved path for their mod. There's so many games out there now that they could pull content ideas from that it would be hard to say that any of the ideas done by the RO are original at all.
