Crack (not the drug)

okay here's my dilemma:

i just got the dvd version in the mail...

my old *** creative dvd drive crapped out on me

i copy my friends dvd image from his drive

i use MY KEY to install

i install a crack.


is there any risk of my key being banned or something?... i mean this is the only way i can play right now till i can afford to buy a dvd/cd-rw combo drive...

most people who bought the game have the No-CD/DVD crack installed. Just make sure you have a backup of the original EXE for when a patch is released.

Requiring you to have the CD/DVD in the drive to play is the most archaic form of copy protection. But try telling that to the board of representatives of major publishing companies.
