I downloaded a patch, it's called 0.74H, seemed to fix it all, we'll see.

I have a gig of ram. It's just trillian, I can understand the resources thing, but it still doesn't explain why the CD runs when I open Trillian.

I dont use trillian so i dont know how much of system resources it uses but the fewer programs running the better ut will run. How much ram do you have?

    UT2004 and Trillian

I use Trillian and when ever I open it up, the UT2004 disc in my DVD drive start spinning. Exiting UT2004 with Trillian running is all crappy and takes forever for my PC to get back up to speed. With Trillian not open, everything runs a lot smoother. Anyone else experience this? Doesn't make sense to me at all.
