It's annoying when half of your team is AFK or idling for more than 5 minutes. Why not just kick them out of the server and free up a spot for someone who actually wants to play and will contribute to the team? I know it's an option in the server configuration. It sucks when we get owned by the other team in less than 10 minutes just because half of our team is not at the computer.

I set the idle kick to 20 secs. The suggested range in WebAdmin is 0-32 secs I think. However it is very buggy. I think that if you have the settings window open in the game that the kick idlers won't work. I activelly have my server admined so I or someone else often kick people that are afk.

Maybe a five minute idle kicker. Under a minute is just ridiculous. After all people have to get up and go to the bathroom once in a while

Yep. I'm surprised Cain's Lair (one of the best servers around - it can actually support 32 people without a hitch, and the players are good too) doesn't have the auto-kick feature on.
