Do you have GeForce3 or greater vid card?

If your using WinXP and havent changed the settings then you will reboot instead of getting a good old blue screen of death (that may give you some clue as to the cause).

Anyway to guess at the cause I would say:

Overheating
Crappy PSU
Driver Incompatibilty

in that order.

I've disabled vpu recov, and only bsod ive ever getting in xp was from installing never while in the os. as for my psu antec true430... so not crappy. using cat 4.4's on a 9800, and i doubt its overheating as its stock

Next time you crash youll get a blue screen it should give you more info on the problem. Note the details and Im sure either myself or someone else here will be able to help
