UT2004: Viewing weapons in a demo

Is there a command that will allow me to view the weapon "in 1st person mode" when playing back a demo i have recorded? I'm trying to make a tricking video but it doesn't draw the weapon at all, it only draws the crosshair

This is a known bug that according to Jack Porter (one of the developers at Epic) probably wont be solved. So you have to do your trick video without visible weapons.

ok, looks like i'll have to capture the movie externally then (ie. PC-to-Video / Video-to-PC) to get the guns in the movie

is there anything one can do to get the weapons in? i know i have seen a couple of frag movies with drawgun on

They probably used an external program (ie. FRAPS) to capture the movie. That is NOT an option on my PC though since my PC isnt powerful enough to play UT2k4 and capture at the same time

How do you know that it won't be solved? Did he say it wouldn't? How lame is that.
