Anyone find the Skaarj file yet?

Does anyone know how to change a downloaded file back to whats its supposed to be?

When I downloaded this link for the voicepack, it saved it on my desktop as a notepad file, because that is what I opened up another file with, now I cannot get inside the folder to see the items.

Its a "RAR compressed archive file " but not sure how to select this on the open with option.....Help me please.....

I'm not sure if I'm understanding you correctly, but you need WinRAR to open RAR files.

It used to be if I download something, it saved it to my desktop, like a folder, then I open folder or unzip it and the files are there. Like the Xan voice pack, it worked fine for that, then somehow I changed something, and now when I download this file, it saves it to my desktop as a notepad file.....?

I downloaded that WinRAR, and got it to open, but it will cost money after 40 days, I know I used to be able to open them with out this though:cry: Not sure....anyone??

if you are using XP just right click on the rar file and click extract all....done

Ok, so here's what I could find from a hunt through the source code. But this can't be all of it... I remember the Skaarj voice having great spoken taunts

Anyways, these are all in UnrealShare.u in the system folder, but you open them from the sound browser.

It used to work like that, but it doesn't save it as a zipped file on my desktop, it saves it as a notepad icon. Im not sure why though.... anyway thanks for the link to winrar....installed that for now.....

hmmm, were not going to have two boss voice packs floating around are we? Or are these two different voices, I haven't tried the voice shrines version yet...
