Was UT2003 even intended to be released?

I say 2k3 was a beta for 2k4. Twice as much money, and a whole bunch of bug reporters. Seems logical to me

Wow, talk about a perfect ***. Seriously, not too fat, not too skinny, its just right. Like poriddge, except with an overdose of male testosterone. Notice everyone on the beach watching her. And clapping. I'll worship the ground you walk on if you can get a looping 360 degree spin around view of that chick (matrix style, yeah) with pause and stuff. Hey, I can dream.

Ok, I don't remember the stuff in the menus, but I know with kick *** graphics (and weapons and stuff) like that, its hard to call it a rush job. Maybe some late night coding, yeah, but not a rush job.

The site even reads that the game was released "All over the world" on the 16th, while we know it wasn't released until the 19th in Europe, and the SE wasn't available in the Benelux until today.
Anyway, the box I got UT2k3 in is EXACTLY the same box as the normal DVD version of UT2k4 comes in (if the screenshots are accurate)
It even has about the same front.
I do think UT2k3 was rushed (buggy first version released 2 weeks after the demo), but I really doubt it was meant as a hold-me-over.

And yes, that's a pretty perfect butt. The girl looks a bit too beach-y to my tastes tho'

I had a good solid Year playing UT2003 in a competetive capacity aswell as for fun. For £25 I had my monies worth, considering Max Payne 2, to name one, cost me the same and took 10hrs to complete; and was then relegated to my old games shelf.

So in answer to your question - NO. UT2003 gave me and many many people many hours of great fun.

Im still playing it for IG now :up:

Indeed a nice post! You make an Interesting point. I didn't like UT2K3 nearly as much as I like UT2K4. Much more polished improved gametypes/new ones. Even sweeter graphics. The majority of the maps don't suck now but the ones that do tend to be the old ones. There is also a whole host of cool mutators and stuff like that. UT2K4 makes UT2K3 feel like your playing pong! Great post and indeed that chick has a sweet ***. I bet she has a gorgous face and some nice tahtahs to! Well atleast I am hoping.

P.S: Arg oh poor girl! It looks like she has a small bruise on her butt. Poor girl. :cry: :cry:
