legacy-ISV_Damocles repliedOh, and by "there should be only one in the file" I meant "there should be only one copy of each in the file", to avoid any confusion.

legacy-bamofosob repliedNicely put. It seems that the game isn't all that stretched, it just seems like it's....zoomed in too far for lack of the correct technical way to explain it. If I remember correctly I didn't find the correct entry for changing the FOV. I think I did a search for 90 which is what it was set to and it didn't come up with a result. I might try again when I get home.

Just curious.
Are the 2 side monitors actually giving you more of a left / right view or is the typical single monitor view just being stretched out across the three?
My only recommendation to you, bamofosob, is to edit your user.ini and changed the "DesiredFOV" and "DefaultFOV" to whatever number you desire. (Do a search of the file for either of those two words, there should be only one copy of each in the file.)
Oh, the user.ini file will be in the X:\UT2004\System directory, where X is the drive letter you installed it to.

legacy-bamofosob repliedThere is a game ini file...can't remember the name of it. (I'm at work tracking people on campus using file sharing programs, so I'm not at my home computer) It's in the system folder...and it stands out pretty good as being the one you need...something like ut2k4.ini...
You just have to edit the full screen size to whatever you are wanting...2 monitors being 2048x768 <--my preferred size. The other options that need changed I am still looking for. Hudxsize and fov or something worked in ut2k3, but I havn't tried it yet in 2k4.
Oh, and it's not stretched. The middle monitor looks close to what it would without the other 2. On the right screen the map is displayed over about half of it.

This game is awesome. Unreal Tournament 1 is/used to be my favorite game. As I play UT2K4 more I will decide! The game runs great on my computer. I have no complaints thus far besides not having support for multiple monitors included in the graphics menu. Maybe Epic/Atari could let matrox know about configurations for their surround gaming cards? I know it's all about ATI/Nvidia anymore, but some of us aren't so fortunate! Besides, I don't want to downgrade.
I got it to work with three monitors finally, but it cuts off a little bit of the bottom of the screen. Basically the hovercraft is only half visible if that gives you any idea. Fighting someone right next to me is difficult when in surround gaming. My FPS is in the 30's generally.
Can anyone assist me in configuration options such as how to make the FOV higher than 100 as is the peak in the game options? I think I want to go higher. I remember in UT2K3 the recommended was 138. I basically want to play without getting dizzy. I can post a picture of the game play if needed. So, if someone out there is an expert on MM gaming I would appreciate it! Maybe someone is using 3 monitors successfully already that can post an ini?
I don't think my system specs matter much for this but I will list them just in case.
