Does anyone know what happened to map-factory.org site? Now it is off-line, its been a couple of weeks since last time being on-line. Is it permanently down?

Perhaps it got shut down... There were users uploading illegal files (full retail games), it could have been something else though.

Hello !

Yes I still am Unfortunately my server went done and I could not fix it immediately. But I'm currently restoring the site and it should be ready before the end of the week (takes time to transfer all maps data). There should be no data loss.

So I invite you to come back to map factory restored this week end !

I have now 4583 maps for UT2003 & ut2004, only for Deathmatch. If someone is interesed... And I found via torrent almost 16.000 maps for DM. Email adress : ovy69@yahoo.com. Map-factory still down.

Map-factory.org is now a russian quad site. I'm rly sad. I loved that site.

Mapraider is one of the few sites that's been around since the beginning of UT2004 that hasn't had some sort of "file catastrophe" at some point. Another is filefront, although they don't allow downloads from lots of countries now.

Other good map sites: Unreal Playground, UTZone and Gamebanana.
