    Ut2k4 Force Model

    Hi, I was wondering if Atari or any of you could give me the code to change the default character in Ut2k4 to Gorge? I know there is a command for this but I don't know it If someone could post it on here that would be great, Thanks!

    I think you would probably enjoy the game more with all characters having their own model.

    I know that there are plenty of arguments for force default model, but at the end of the day I think that its silly to remove it so that you have that tiny advantage playing online. We never had a problem with UT (well we did, but it wasn't a big one)

    Sadly - The community is obsessed with winning, and cannot take losing, and will happily destroy the atmosphere of the game if it makes winning that little bit easier.

          You might have to unlock him first... I think I read in another thread a way to just add a line to your User.ini to add the unlockables automatically without having to beat all of single player or anything else.

          And personally I like Brock and Hyena for my forced models. They are visible, look 'average' and you can tell which way they are facing at a glance (something you can't always do with a model like Gorge that doesn't have a neck.

          edit: Hmm... apparently they've only allowed certain models to be defaults. So far the only ones I've found are Gorge and Jakob. Now I'm trying to figure out a programatic way to figure out which all ones are available to male and female defaults... but not having any luck. Might be brute forcing this one.

                Jez ICEMAN what FOV do you use, the players are tiiiiiny. Try FOV 80 and they will look much better.

                  always used fov 100 in UT =) i tryed 90/80 but it just dosent feel right(feels like im playing in slomo mode >.<) =)

                    i like setting ithe fov to 80, then it's like partial zoom, you see the guys before they see you and also unzoomed headshots are easier.
