I'm still waiting for people to get sick of playing UT...

(it was game of the year, not game of the century)

Sorry, not likely to happen anytime soon.

UT is now officially dead to me. UT2k4 contains all the best of UT and UT2k3 as well, and then a whole lot more.

I've only recently started getting bored with ut99, and I've been playing since '99.

                not likely.

If not for the abscene of decent online servers, I'd play UT anyday.

                    ?????

Do you not like UT2k4? :weird: Aside from the fact that the characters are still smaller than in UT, as well as the lack of enforcers, it has much of the same flavor. Finally I have a reason to uninstall UT.

FYI, it's a fact that even CS is dying.

I still play UT plenty. You just can't beat it. I'll admit 04 is a step better than 03 was, but the noobs still got their way when the people created this game. Shock rifle feels a bit better now, but not quite the same. Lightning gun and sniper rifle are way too slow and neither require the extra interference. I want more grenades, so put 'em back in the launcher and not the assault rifle. The hammer had more use than the shield gun. And last of all I want the old translocator back.

I think they're trying to make it like other FPS's today, and that blows. We don't want slower/more realistic, those games suck.
