Yeap, seems it does run a bit funnah in some areas. Although a map with a layout like that is kinda hard to optimize.
While it is a cool and unique concept, I think after a few dozen rounds or so of playing it (nonconsecutive) I'd get sick of it.

Dunno actually, probably .... but it looks too good to turn world detail down .... I hope it's still possible though. And I get sick of it too, can't play it for long, but it's still a cool design.
Icarus is a great map but once the Leviathan exploit is taken care of I'll enjoy playing it more.
Also ONS-EvilMood just came out and it's pretty good, but it needs a few terrain bugs worked out because just tonight I got 3 different vehicles stuck against a boulder or girder and couldnt' get them out. It's got good classic gameplay elements to it, and doesn't look too bad. It also needs some tweaking at each base for item pickups around the power core. I recommend that map for ownage once those things are taken care of.
IMRO I'd ask that maybe on of the pro-mappers offer to help tweak that map for the designer, that way we start populating the ONS scene with more good maps. Ascendency hasn't been released yet and that'll be good too.
I’m sure this is a good map, just too much falling for me (careful on ramps; just played it again and I was more careful and didn’t fall once)……….hence the name. I like the jumps, lots of vehicles, good flow and trim.
