Just played a round on Icarus, and it is even better than the screens suggest. Very tight gameplay. This is an awesome map.
My first impressions:
Highlights: watching the vehicles fall through holes & off the sides of the buildings (except when you're still in one). Nice cover to duck behind walls, etc while you attack a node.
The downside? You only get to use the Lev if your last node and/or base is under attack. If you're winning, it's way back by your base, looking pretty. Purely defensive. No taking it out for a nice little Sunday drive.
There are jump pads all over the map, and beaucoup vehichles to drive through hallways, and over jumps.
It's obvious why Chris gets paid to map. Thank you very much, Chris, and congratulations on your creation.
