I've tried getting the mod to work to no avail and I've also tried different versions and still gotten no where. The mod installs fine and everything is right where they belong but I start up UT2k4 and I go into Instant Action to try it and click on "GameRules" and nothing happens and there are no options in the gametype "Gateways". Am I doing something wrong or I haven't played UT2k4 in a while and forgot everything?

Did you update UT2004 to the latest version? Does U4E support the latest version of UT2004 at all? Are you sure you installed it correctly? -
Yes I'm updated with UT2004 3369. I extracted the contents of the zip version into my ut2004 directory as told in the Readme file that came in the zip file " Unreal4Ever Full Umod (4.0)" , Here's my screenshot:
PS I also edited my UT2004.ini as shown in the image

I figured this one out on my own this afternoon, some other Mods or Custom Content can conflict with the U4E (Unreal4Ever)Mod so I decided to reinstalled the game in a different location C:\Program Files\UT2004 and now the mod works voila!! Check this out though, I'm gonna get my custom content back but only one at a time til I find out which mod is conflicting with the U4E Mod
.
P.S. I'll keep this updated just in case anyone else is having the same problem.Comment

Strange... sounds like there could be some files having same names/references in them that conflict judging from my experience.
But I'd love to hear what mod it does conflict with. (being a gateways lover myself)

It happened to be Ballistic Weapons conflicting with U4E so I removed all traces of the Ballistic mod and now everything works
