Practicing with bots

I want to practice SA2K4 sniper rifle in DM with bots in IA to improve my skill. The problem is bots are dumb as dog stuff. What skill level is the best to set them at to mimic human players, but not give them the ability to act like aimbots and just shoot me from across the map, like in godlike mode? I moved them down to adept, but wonder if this is enough. Essentially, a level that's enough to challenge me and build skill, but not enough to give the bots an inhuman advantage that can't be surpassed.

I heard multiple times that Masterful is best at reflecting players. However, that depends on the weapon type. If you have weapons with recoil, which is difficult to handle for bots (like with Ballistic weapons mod) you should increase their level.

Well according to me Godlike bot or masterful bot or any bot will not give you the experience you will get from a real player.
But if you do wanna try something , try Advanced bot vampirus JR mutator on 60% accuracy that worked well for me.
But still not good enough as you get a match from 1 on 1 dm with a skilled player.

I have them set on Masterful right now with the SA2K4 sniper rifle.

I tried vampirus, but you can only play with one bot at a time on it.

There truly is no substitute for playing against a stronger human opponent.
