Cd-Rw/DVD-Rom combo drives: WIll it work?

I was wondering, since I will be getting my SE tommorow, will I have any installation problems (ideally) with my cd-rw/dvd rom combo drive? Its lite-on btw.

i have a combo (samsung) and it DID NOT WORK

Game installed and plays flawlessly.

i just picked up some random cd/dvd drive from CompUSA today for $45, with a $35 mail-in rebate.

game installed without a hitch.




as i look at the box, its a Mad Dog Multimedia Entertainer drive. whoever they are.

i have a plextor 708a combo dvd-r/rw cd-r/rw dvd rom drive and i had no problems at all.

.... oh... I thought I had that... but that was my HDD... pweh!

I have a Sony 52x/32x/52x/16 Combo... not getting SE tho... sorry for wasting space...
