Roommate thinks demo makers are using aimbots.

I'm not a gamer...and I realize people are capable of amazing things.

I download these demo movies, and enjoy the effort and skill put into them.

BUT....I have a roommate, who happens to wander over and see the demos every once in a while. He always replies "He's using an aimbot" or " he's playing stupid people"

This person is very competitive, and doesn't accept defeat easily. (too bad)

Is there any way I can prove him wrong?

And besides... if you're making a movie you're doing so on a private server with your friends/clan... you gather tons of scenes and splice it all together and there you go.
Chapters of K was quite good, very well done video and if they used aimbots for some of their scenes I don't care. I've seen people that good and in the video it's edited and thus compressed so looks a little phony. But I think not.....

Now, where's that bus schedule???

Most movies are from demos recorded while playing in pubs, or passworded servers in some occasions. Tropic's movies for example are 95% pub action (and mostly from the factory ).

download some demos from lan tourneys like cxg/wcg/eswc and show him, they can usualy be found on sites like cached.net and esreality.com, im sure someone else here could recommend a specific one where someone has really really good aim
