Is the Macintosh edition going to be the same?

i have a friend who has a mac and he was wondering if he can just buy the DVD SE and it would run on his mac.

i just ordered the dvd se myself and it said MAC/PC, so i didn't know what to tell him.

you see, here it says MAC/PC

but on the reg edition it just says PC.

The DVD SE is PC only; he must wait for the normal Mac version to come out. (Doesn't it come out at the same time? Not sure...)

I posted the same question the other day, and from searching the net, I have come concluded that it does both.
I could be wrong though!

It wont do both. You might be able to play the second DVD's with the videos on it but you WILL NOT be able to run the game.

Epic has said that a seperate Mac version will ship. Not to mention you cant have a dual format CD.

It must be a typo.

You can have dual format CD's,
Diablo 2 came on Dual format ones, I remeber that well.

But I am 100% sure that Epic said that the Mac version will ship seperately. I'm not sure if it comes out at the same time though.

Icculus I believe said the mac one will be out at the same time, He is the guy working on the Mac, and Linux ports of the game.
