I want to install the X-Fi patch for it's 128 channel support, but I don't want the new sound effects and music system. I think there are commands to disable them, but I heard they are not permanent. I don't want the X-Fi sounds coming back every time I restart the game. Can anyone confirm that there are .ini settings to keep the old sounds when using the X-Fi patch?
