But in most games spawnraping is at the very least considered cheap/lame. Only in vehicle-based games is it apparently considered "good tactics" (or efficient enough to ignore the pangs of guilt?). Well, whatever, not interested in the vehicle stuff anyway. Happy whoring, whoever enjoys that sort of thing...
On Torlan, when our opponent was down to that last node, and everybody had to start spawning in the base, I drove a Hellbender into their Hellbenders parking spot so it couldn't spawn, then I hit 2 and let the spawning players have it.
The worst part is that I always assumed that if you were flicking yellow you were invulnerable! Not so.
So if I spawn-killed you, I'm sorry. (but **** it was fun)

dude, dont feel bad, the enemy MADE me spawn camp. I got my goliath to the top of the hill so I could assist in destroying an enemy node. I happened to be near the tower, so they started spawning at the tower location. Well hell's Bells, if yur gonna spawn, yes, Im gonna blow you to hell. I got over 30 kills in under a minute before they widdled my tank down to liquid $hit.

I dont camp, I move fast and hit hard, my main goal as should be everyone's is to take nodes and defend the team. If there is a lone foot soldier walking in the open, YES I will take his head, if there are Avril whores on the hill trying to take out my teams Raptor, I'll take HIS head. But I allways keep moving and pushing the tides in our favor, I hate sitting int he same place for too long so camping is not for me. The incident with the tank was not my fault, those ****** werent smart enough to NOT respawn in fron tf a tank. Its like walking up to a bear and peeing on its paw PLEASE.
As for tru campers, not a problem, they usually are newbies and will stand in one place for more than enough time to take a head, and they stand in th emost obviosu of places, when I snipe, I make sure Im covored (shrubs mountain side etc.)
A good way to stop the opponents tank from respawning is to park a damaged vehicle on the tanks platform either before or after you kill it. The tank won't repawn until it is moved and anyone who is dumb enough to get in the damaged vehicle is an easy kill.

Spawncamping can actually be used sortof defensively. In a game, my team was down to last node and taking heavy fire, so I drove the hellbender to the tank node right next to it and started blasting everyone there with the combos, preventing them from taking tank.
I they wanted to they could easily spawn by another node, grab a manta, and attack me from behind.
We managed to turn the tide and actually win the last few seconds with just 8% core left.

lol, see, now thats awsome, I can dig it. I love joining random gains as this angel of death and joining the underdog team. If the players are at least decent, I can usually succeed in fending off thier enemy causing an eventual victory.
Now what I might start doing int he furture is to see how long I can make a battle last just by jumping tams when the one Im on starts winning, that would be funny.

We wouldn't have won if some of my teammates hadn't retaken our last node while I was off devastating their tank node, though.
In my experience it's hard to make a difference all alone.
