Everything in SE edition

I know about the two dvds, the headset and such, but what else, i heard something about some sort of sticker, and will the case be tin?

pre ordered a month ago, but just wondering what i should prepare myself for

The outside of the box with have a Tin sleeve type cover from what I've heard.

to see that the sticker looks like go to www.isv-knights.org and scroll down a little. One of my team mates has it on his car.

I'm thinking... why do everyone want to buy the Second Edition?

Yea you get the game on a dvd so what, if u buy it on a cd, the only bad side in it is that the installation can be a pain.

The headset sucks, except for and microphone. There's barely any bass in them, sounds are so flat. I'd rather spend another 50€ on a good set of headphones.

What fun are some shtoopid collection cards huh? few glances and thats it .

I think most people won't even be really watching those tutorials on the dvd and make something out of it too. :bulb:

Only really good side I can see is that it's cheap considering what it contains. Except here in Finland. The game costs 50€, and the SE costs 70€. Bah.

Since you asked...

Most people want to buy it now because what vendors that are still selling it are doing so for the same price as the 6-CD version.

However it comes on a more convenient 2-DVD format, of which the game should be on one DVD and a lot of other stuff on the second DVD. Easier and quicker install.

And then there is the extras.

Also it is a relatively rare version.

Now when it goes back to $70 there will be less of an incentive for some to get it.

But most of the hardcore people are going to get the game early, and try to get the best game package while quantities last, as soon as possible.

That car is pretty rare, and sandy hasn't had a problem with his as far as I know. I think the car is pretty cool .

yeah they are rare but every problem they were known for (bad rear diff. and overheating transmission) i seemed to have...just my luck i guess :sour:

It's not an Unreal sticker...it's a plastic emblem that's about half a centimeter thick.

I got mine when I preordered...so does one come in the box too? Cuz that'd be awesome, I'd have one for my car, one for my case.

Less CDs and case for me. Being an old techie, while I'll probably never make a map or a mod, I'm stoked about seeing all the VTMs.

The headset may suck, but I only need it for the microphone, which is apparently good. I suspect most people will have sound comming out their speakers, and only use the headset for the mic.

ill use it for the sound too, and just unplug it when im not playing the game

Um, noticed a few people saying they will use thier speakers with the mic.. doesn;t that just really screw up everyone else playing, including yourself? Imagine 32 people all with thier speakers playing in the background, out of synch.

Isn't the whole point to use the headset and the mic for palying and using speech? Positional sound is usually better with headsets as well..
