Does the DVD SE version also come with the $10 rebate for UT2003 owners?

I just noticed that the regular box on EB (http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/237437.asp) notes that you get a $10 rebate if you own UT2003... while the DVD Special Edition (http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/239452.asp) does not.

Does the DVD SE still come with that UT2003 rebate? Or since this version adds the headset and extra DVD features, does it not offer the rebate instead?

Yes, according to the official press release, the SE comes with the rebate as well.

      Cool, thanks.

So what's the point in getting the regular UT2004? :weird: They're both $39.99. One is just the game, the other is the game + bonus material + headset. Either the regular version is a rip or the SE is the greatest deal ever... regardless, I can't fathom the point in getting the regular version!

From seeing posts made by Atari staff my guess would be that you cut out the UT2003 barcode put that and a recipt on UT2004 in an envelope that comes with the game....

Dont quote me on this though

            Mail-In Rebate

Normally, the SE version is going to retail for $59. However, right now it is $40 at most places for pre-order. Just a sale going on right now. Once the game is released, I think it will go back to $60.

Also note that not everyone has a DVD drive, so they have to get the six CD version. However, note that I do and already have my Unreal Tournament 2004 Special Edition pre-ordered.
