It could be a dynamic campaign.

First you choose to play has the good guys or the bad guys.
Second you need to choose the faction of the good/bad guys (depends on which you choose).
Third Each race has its won planets, and you start on their planet, and then you move on to other race's planets to attack them and win the game.

I like UT3, I don't want them to make a game just because the community asks for one, they should make a game because they feel like it is the right moment.

Well duh, of course they don't work any more. But that's no reason to ignore the plot of Unreal II at all. Besides, Unreal II was supposed to have a system exactly like in Mass Effect, where you can choose your mission from Atlantis, but they never finished that system.

I heard of that as well, could have been the best Unreal if it would have been finished It was even in the planning that you could pick up the weapons of all the enemies (like the Razik of a Skaarj). One of the reasons why I prefer Unreal 1: It seems to be complete (although a lot has been cut out of it as well, such as the possibility to choose between two ways, they still managed to give you the feel of a polished and finished game). They even wanted to incorporate co-op mode into U2 but that has been scrapped too because of their plans to make reactions when you talk with the crew members (which would make it "impossible" to make in co-op) and the other things they wanted to make as far as I know.

I say meh to any single player (based) game by Epic. To date, all but the orignal Unreal have sucked horribly IMO. GoW, Bulletstorm, etc are all terribly mundane games full of cheap gimmicks that are really lame. (Just my opinion)

To be fair though, I am a VERY picky gamer. I used to like more video games. Like back during the PS2/Xbox era I liked a lot of the games that were put out, and many before that time period (SNES yeahhh). I find that all of the creativity seems to have left the building. I don't mean making new controllerz that you can shake at your screen. To me that's another gimmick in a manner of speaking; a way for Nintendo to get market share again, and it worked...more power to 'em. I know it's not easy to create somethinggn truly new, especially today, but I feel like studios stick with about 4-5 genres, and NEVER try to break the mold anymore. To a degree it's understandable because that is a huge risk. Anyways I really only like games that are CHALLENGING. UT2004 was one of those games for me. I rememer when I first got it. I was such a noob, and I tried to go through the single player campagin, and I got my azz kicked about 400 million timese before I beat it. Eventually I beat the game again later on Godlike and I thought I had arrived. I went online more, and got my azz kicked for ayear straight until finally I was the one kicking the azz. It can still be a challenge to this day to win a match under certain conditions. I think that along with the great modding capability of UT2004 is waht keeps me coming back. Honestly I feel like some old as dirt UT fan now because if I could have my way, I would change very little...just update the graphics...lol. I mean look at that guitar hero ****. (I play guitar so forgive me) The latest "wave" or w/e is a game that comes with a guitar controller that ACTUALLY HAS strings. You might as well go get a REAL guitar, and not waste your time witha video game. That is just ridiculous to me.

Anyways the only games in recent history I can say I truly thought werre great games (post UT2004) are/were UC2, Devil May Cry 4, Ninja Gaiden 1, Final Fantasy XIII, and Tekken 6. Other than that, the rest has been way too cookie cutter for me. I guess you could say I have problem with almost every game on the market these days. Everything feels so DONE TO DEATH.

I thought I'd buy u24004 with better graphics...then realised that I play ut2004 with low-detail settings right now on a fairly modern gaming machine. When I reinstalled on Ubuntu recently I cranked up the settings to max and was amazed how good it looks! Of course all that extra stuff got in the way of fragging, so I turned it straight off!

If you want a good UT like game, it exists. It is a mix between UT and Quake. The name of the game is nexuiz. I love that game. Tought if go to their website, don't look at the new Nexuiz, it sucks (it will be for XBox 260 and PS3 only and it has nothing to do with the classic one). Go to this page were you find the classic game (you can still play it online, like I do and there are lots of players)

              Still, don't leave UT2004

HAHA....but, but better graphics mean it looks better with all the details turned off. High poly models with low res textures.

No, LOD makes sure the models are not high poly as well.

UT4 needs to be like UT2k4 in a sense of Compatibility because UT3 was a little difficult to get compatible with everything... (I still can't play the Campaign) UT2k4 is perhaps one of the games I've played the most but I Was getting tired of The graphics and the UT3 looks INCREDIBLE (After playing UT2k4 for 9 years) I think the community needs Ut4 to become a Highly Mod-able thing...
I started my Modding Life in AOEII
                      Then Moved to UT2k4
                      Skyrim & Civilization 5
And I would do so as well for UT3 BUT Compatibility Issue
Anyways I think UT4 needs to be just So CRAZILY EASY TO MOD (Like it comes with all the tools, or if they're feeling lucky... They charge a bit more for the modding stuff
That would be perhaps the best,
And also they don't get rid of any gametypes... They just ADD and ADDD and ADDDD
