    Sorry for that Tobbe!
I have been intouch with ATARI NORDEN and there will be no rebate in Scandinavia at all.
Further i have information that the only countries in Europe that will have the rebate are UK and GERMANY, so you in the rest of Europe can keep your manuals.
There will be NO rebate for you, Sorrry for that m8's.

Source is the Sales & Marketing Director for Atari_Nordic AB.

Altough i most say that bying the SE-version is a bit of a bargin (if you need a headset though, othercase you can sell it and earn some money on that

Scottmc, the Atari brand manager, seems to be under the impression that the rebate is world wide.

I guess you'll have to wait and see.

Equals $9 for UT2004? Thats has to be the greatest deal in history!
and supposedly you can trade in your copy of ut2k3 for another $10 bucks from EBgames, so it would come out to be free.

            I would be surpirsed if it's still worth $10 in a trade-in.......

If we still have them, can we use the UPCs from UT2k3? I don't really have an issue with taking off the manual cover, but the UPC is the real proof or purchase, and I still have mine.

But each ATARI-territory will decide if it's gonna be or not. "Sad but True" for us living in Europe outside the UK or Germany.

                  Manual

I do not like having to send in the manual
                  front cover.

Especially given the fact that I have one of
                  the wierd orange misprints...

                  Simple solution;

Atari, Epic, whoever makes this *****,
has a list of all the CD keys for the game.

A copy of the back of the manual with the
                  CD key should suffice.

Of course, 2004 is already packaged with
the coupons and it is too late, but a well
thought out solution would have made
the buying public a bit happier.

I will do the rebate just to gouge my
10 bucks back out of them but if
someone out there in rebate land would
have used their noodle I wouldn't have
                  to ruin my manual...

                  Thanks, Brainiac, whoever you are...

Can we photocopy the receipt? Otherwise if anything goes wrong we cannot demonstrate to the person we bought the game from that we have the reciept.

I'd talk to whoever sells me the game about that...

I wonder if this rebate is only going to apply to the CD version of the game... or will it also apply to the DVD version?

I have UT2K3, however I planned on getting the DVD version of UT2K4... will I still be able to claim the $10 manuafacturer's upgrade warranty?

Did you read the post !?

Go back and read it again, and pay attention to the red words... the first one... that says both.

Well, that looks about as official as they come. I guess both of my sets of manuals and boxes will stay in-tact as well. $80-some-odd-dollars for 2 copies of the SE isn't too bad.
