What music do you listen to?

Hey was just wondering what music the people around here like to listen to. Mine goes from Rock to Death-Metal. My favourites are: System of a down, Black Dahlia Murder, Carach Angren, Alestorm, Amon Amarth (since today), Dimmu Borgir <3, Dream Theater, Ensiferum, Tenacious D, Wintersun. Of course these aren't all my favourites but I ain't got more on my PC to look for at the moment.

    What about you guys?

I listen to the same type of music.
      Some of my favorites are:
(the old) In Flames, Nirvana, Slipknot, Fear Factory, Static X, Rammstein, Rage and Papa Roach. From time to time I listen to some other bands but I listen mainly to these

I mean the band "Rage" (not very known) I forgot about Rage Against The Machine in my list
Usually I don't listen to music ingame. I have to listen to UT's music. It gives me the right gaming atmosphere.

I listen to soundtracks only. Right now playing Collision Course from UT2004. And in games I listen to their music, of course.

                  Metal head for life

Right now I'm way into George Lynch and Yngwie Malmsteen.

This owns your fingers ( I can play some of this stuff..I own 2nd pattern all day long..0:21):

As far as soundtracks go, I was always a fan of the score from Conan The Barbarian. I figured out most of the entire movie on guitar. Yes I play guitar with a movie

I play guitar too and I have to say that such riffs are pretty hard to play. I remember how long it took me to learn the intro of Over the hills and far away by Gary Moore, here's the link so that you know how the song and the intro sound like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyJEytBlp1I (this is played with a violin in the original but when you play it with an e-guitar and a bit faster this sounds pretty cool). It's not that fast but it took me almost one month because I just didn't had enough time for learning it. It was frustrating LOL But now I can play riffs which are a lot faster. Practice makes perfect
If you can play it at the same speed as in the first link: Respect! Then you're pretty good! I know what I'm talking about
The last link is a cool song! I like the lead guitar!

                    EDIT: *$@%! I forgot Metallica!

well i listen to metal, since I was a little boy I didn't liked what my friends liked, I just listened to it to fit in. NOw I listen to Metal, even only one or two friends of mine, besides the community, listen to it.

My favorit bands are "Oomph!"(very good), "Serj Tankian" and "Rammstein", there are also some other, like Nightwish and so on, but the first three are my favority.

ye metallica is good to, but Oomph! is better.

The same for me. I don't like what my friends like I need shouting, screaming, e-guitar, e-bass and drums!

Hm... I think I could also add Killswitch Engage to my favorites. LOL There are too many good bands out there
