    The Demo.....

Well where do I start? I like it, it took me about an hour to get all the settings dialed in the way I like them, however, DAM they really got hardcore on options..... I mean, if you give someone too many options, the brain can overload!!!!!

I liked the maps, but I still cant for the life of me figure out how to play onslaught? I know I must be an idiot but I cant figure out all the rules and what you can and cant do and what the hell the point is. Is there a tutorial that I missed?

I am happy that they brought Assault back, but I think that they made it a little more complicated than it needs to be. I mean they literally have an arrow pointing in the direction you need to go constantly. Doesnt that take the fun out of it? Oh well, overall it was great, but the only thing I didnt like was that on UT2K3 I get excellent FPS around 60 to 75 (which feels great for me) and this is with all the settings turned up. However, I have to put all the settings on LOW to even average 40 FPS on UT2K4? Why is that? Did they make this game more hungry for power again? Although I have to admit that the full package game usually performs better than the demo, naturally.

So overall I liked it, but it does need some touch ups, as usual.

I actually found the demo to run smoother than UT2003 did for me.

hehehe. Me too. I spent like 30 minutes matching up all the binds and settings and such in the ini file with my ut2k3 stuff before I even played my first game. :bulb:

Once you get used to the menu, you will be glad all of the options are there.

          onslaught :

create a chain of nodes to the oppostions base to destroy their core.
if one of your nodes are destroyed or overrun, your chain to the opposition core is broken.
so basically create a chain as quickly as possible, and destroy the core as quickly possible.

So did I... I'm not sure why, but the maps loaded faster and the framerate was more stable in intense battles then UT2k3 is.

            Strange:bulb: ... But I'm not complaining.

Agree, the more options the better.
The more things in the game the better.

This is what worries me about T:V. They want to make it simple. Problem with that, is the game may be boring if there's only a few things to do. I play T2 every night because there's always something different.. If I don't feel like capping, I set up the D with turrets. Feeling angry, hop in a vehicle and go run people over. The list goes on and on, it's always different.

I disagree. Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness had far too many options.
