    UT2K4 Download?

My brother has my/our copy of the CDs, I currently have the cd-key sitting right next to me, and really don't feel like buying another copy of the game just because my unused copy of it is sitting 300 miles away.

So, is there any free online-download of UT2K4? And no I'm not looking for/am not interested in a warez file.

You can get in for $15 on steam but there is no free downloads.

Oh well, guess I will never play it again, not interested in buying a game I already have.

I hear there is a service for taking things from one place to another called "mail". It's a bit like email, but without the "e". You could try it.

Ya, let's pay 10 bucks to ship a 10 dollar game, sounds smart eh?

Mailing a CD/DVD is $2.23 at most up to 1 pound.

Maybe you can register your cd-key with the steam version so you can bind it to your account. Kind of as if you bought a retail copy of a steam game. You could then download it via steam.
I haven't tried that and I don't know if they are compatible (cd-key wise). Maybe someone can shed some light on this.

Retail CD-keys for this game cannot be registered through Steam. If you wish to create a shortcut to this game in your My games menu, instructions can be found here:

Nope. Paying for shipping still requires me to pay for a game I already have, its the principle not the amount.

how does that work? I bought Anthology but UT2004 crashes during the install. (I've only been able to install unreal, unreal tournament and unreal II).

Unistall EVERYTHING UT, then install Anthology.

It's not Epic's fault you forgot to pack the disk. Paying the mailman to bring it to you is not paying for a game you already had.

More and more game developers are creating ways for costumers to get their games online, I was simply asking if Epic had such a means as Blizzard just adopted one. Now there's no reason for you to be so rude; "There's a thing called durmail". My brother plays the game and we both paid half for it, so he has the disks, now I don't see a reason why I can't play it as well without disks when he isn't. Now it's fine Epic doesn't have a download to their game for such a problem, it costs money to do this and there may be some abuse, but just don't be snotty about people asking.
