netspeed = 15000 for starters.. sometimes when you re-install it nerfs your netspeed and gives you choppy FPS.

also, you can have a low ping and still experience packet loss... type "stat net" in your console to see a more detailed report of your internet connection to serverl.

How many FPS you are getting? What settings are you playing on?

OIh wait, it could be that you didn't set you connection speed is still on modem.

When you reinstall UT2003 it sets the default speed to modem, and if you don't set it higher that's what you will play as. That's what happened to me.

I posted a thread about this a while ago. I found my netspeed was on 2600:bulb: I set it to 20000 and it was much better

What KIND of lag do you mean?
              Choppy FPS?
              Delay between clicking and firing?
              Warping in the map?

Setting netspeed to ADSL should set it to 10000 or so.
If you want to be sure, type "netspeed 10000" in the console. (anything higher than that will be capped by the server, in most cases)

Anyway, do you get this lag in offline play as well?
