    [OT] XviD and Audio...

Hmm my second OT thread in a row .

Right now after some laborious searching, I have FINALLY got the XviD codec to work. I encoded my video and the quality was great!
    Now the problem is audio!!

I'm using Adobe Premiere 6.5. Now it doesn't let me record the audio from my movie. I.e., when I export and choose XviD, then go to the audio settings I cant select anything.

So I'm wondering how you encode audio when using the XviD codec?

I'm thinking it needs to be done seperately, but how?

    Thnx in advance

Oh right! Nah its the full version!

But the fact that its in Premiere isnt the issue. I tried it in Virtual Dub aswell, but to no avail.

The problem is that I dont have a sound option when recording with XviD. What should I do?

well, I made a picture showing what to do

        1. Make sure this box is checked

        2. Hit the "Next" button two times to get to audio

        3. Copy the settings in the picture(provided that all your audio is in mp3 forum, when you export, it will not be adobe's .wav)

                Total Recorder Standard Edition:

                http://www.highcriteria.com/productfr_tr.htm

                Either:

                1. record while the demo plays back

                or

                2. play the individual songs within UED and record

                depending on what you need...

Edit: also Fraps 2.0 allows you record both audio and video fyi.
