      I made mine as well. A little 10x10 diamond scaled @ 0.5 with bluegreen inside and black border.

        Rev_Whopass from |C| made a nice crosshair pack that is basically the dot with a circle around it. We have a custom crosshair thread at beyondunreal ut2k3 forum but the site appears to be down right now. The pack also includes a circle with a hole in it so that when you set it right you see their head in the circle.

        With these you can get the dot with black circle around it without having to join a ttm server.

        Also note that yellowish green crosshair is the best. It happens to be the wavelength your eye is most sensitive to.

                    set engine.hud crosshairscale <Number> (1 = 100%)

                    for the custom weapons:
                    set XWeapons.<WeaponName> customcrosshairscale <Number>

                      [XWeapons.Minigun]
                      ExchangeFireModes=0
                      Priority=10
                      CustomCrosshair=15
                      CustomCrossHairColor=(B=255,G=255,R=255,A=255)
                      CustomCrossHairScale=0.750000
                      CustomCrosshairTextureName=AniDot.Ani1

                      Just change the scale. You can find it in the user.ini

                          I use a different cross hair for each weapon using the change in my User.ini, e.g
                          ----------------------------------------------------------------------
                          [XWeapons.ShockRifle]
                          ExchangeFireModes=0
                          Priority=8
                          CustomCrosshair=-1
                          CustomCrossHairColor=(B=255,G=255,R=255,A=255)
                          CustomCrossHairScale=1.000000
                          CustomCrossHairTextureName=
                          ----------------------------------------------------------------------

                          I find that for precise aiming (such as the shock above) the second cross hair in the list within the game is the best for this, as i can see the vertical aspect of the target whilst aiming, thx to the X shape of the cross hair. I used to use the DOT but after a while it began to make my eyes hurt :cry:
