I tried to register a channel in ETG for the community, UIC. First, to register any channel in ETG you must Email them and then wait for answer. I explained my purpose that UIC is a new started independent community for UT players and clans. They answered me that UIC is a competive community and would compete with ETG's channel, #ut. We have no intention to "steal" people, we will gather people, old and new players. We have channels in irc.quakenet.org #uic.ut and irc.globalgamerscenter.net #uic Globalgamerscenter have huge #ut channel with people who help players, clans and server owners 24 hours a day and they think it's good with the #uic channel. I can't get the Etg's philophosy, that they feel that our channel should be a threat for theirs 15 people #ut channel who does not even help people. I got many pm from people in ETG's #ut about questions, everyday and I tried to help them if i could and had time. Now I recommend them globalgamers #ut who have around 100 people and a staff about 15 people who can help. You who play UT, UT2004 and want to play the future UT3, join a network who SUPPORT and HELP you when you need it!
