What do you think about flat screen ? I own one and i think is not good for my aim...

    Am i right ?

I have come back to UT 2003 but with a 20" flat screen and i feel my aiming skill very poor.

That was not like that few months ago with my classic monitor.
Is it my imagination or flat screen really suck for FPS_? :weird:

Flat screens aren't fast enough to suit FPS games. They're fine for slow-moving strategy games, such as Age of Empires, but the time needed to redraw the screen makes them impractical for games such as UT2k3.

Unfortunately, they're very popular as-is, because most computer buyers aren't aware of this situation. Manufacturers have little incentive to advance the technology.

Stick with CRT monitors. For the money, you get a bigger screen and better performance.

          Flat Screen = flat CRT

Flat Panel = extremely thin monitor

Hmm, I think the original poster meant a CRT flat screen, not a TFT panel like you think.

Anyway, please dont speak unless you have performed some research on the subject - it just reeks of ignorance! I have owned a TFT for the past week now (LG L1710B), and have had no problems whatsoever with any FPS game - including our beloved UT2003. Yes thats right, no ghosting at all. I can only assume you are still harping on about TFT panels of yesteryear. Seriously, you wont believe the advancements made (especially with regards to 17" screens).

I love my new screen so much I would marry it if I could (though the wife may object ). As an added bonus, its nowhere near as bulky as my old 19"CRT (although visible area is almost as big!).
