    Have you played at 320x240?

Well, the options for my screen size goes all the way down to 320x240!
When I tried it, it felt like an coin-op arcade game and somehow, more fun.
The only problem is that the game must shift up screen sizes to open the menu, causing a blank screen in between.

    So:
What's your smallest screen size and what is it like to play it at that size?

I wouldn't try it, but putting "setres ###x###" in the console gives you a custom resolution. 1x1 maybe?

I used 320x240 once when trying to play in my university's computer lab...still ran like molasses

320*240 gives you that awesome retro feel

Actually I played UT2003 in that resolution the first month (320*240 @ 25FPS: Intel Onboard Video FTW!)

It feels like Quake 2... Real nostalgia.

In a previous worklife before being laid off in a downsize I worked at a PC vendor selling machines. We had the UT2k3 demo on a low end machine in a flex case running a celeron w integrated intel extremely bad graphics, and we also had the demo on a midrange system Tbird w Geforce 2mx, and high end (At the time) P4 w Geforce 4 TI
Anyhoot we HAD to run the demo at 320x240 to even crack 30fps on the low end box. But it was helpful in getting people to spend an extra $150 to go to the upgradable midrange box, Unless they were that stingy. (And these were people who DID like games but didn't want to SPEND Anything) Then we'd tell them not to buy games if they bought the low end box. Sure enough though three weeks later they'ed be in the service area with it wondering why the POS wouldn't run Morrowind, or Asheron's Call, or Serious Sam or UT2k3.
The best was when they'ed flip out about it, and we got to throw it back in their faces that we TOLD them not to use it for demanding games. Then they'ed feel stupid 'cause they didn't have a leg to stand on.
Ah......fun times. (Sarcasm) I still put up with this in my current job.
But long story short (Too late) I've played it that low.
