    Unreal 2 vs UT2003/4 Character Shadows

    Why werent the unreal 2 character shadows used in UT2003 and 4. The ones on Unreal 2 seemed to be lightsource based, making the shadow of the character apply in the oppisit direction of any lights around him, unlike in UT2003/4 where the shadow of character always appears below him and never stretches, making it seem as if there is always a light above him.

    Multiplayer maybe, plus Unreal2 is a little more advanced graphically all around....later game.
