100% offline, Hardcore Mod only. At this point the regular game just feels too slow and weak. I'll start back to playing online once UT3 comes out.

When I noticed that the 'hardcore' option from UT(1) was missing, I made a Damage Amplifier mut to fix this.
If you liked the Hardcore mod, try my DamAmp mut (at 1.33) with the gamespeed mut (at 1.10). It should play just as though UT(1)'s hardcore option was on. [/selfless advertising of own stuff ]

I play mostly on-line now. I played half/half so in UT2003. I prefer on-line.

Sounds like my hardcore mut. LoL. I encreased weapon damage, made the movement faster, and my all time favorite - got rid of ragdolls in favor of bloody gibs exploding all over the place. I'll have to check your mut out though and compare.

My mut only changes the damage, so it's sort of bare-bones hardcore mode.

Always online. When I first got the game, I played offline to get the hang of things, but in all the years since then, it's been pretty much exclusively online. I find playing against real people way more engaging - but that's just my preference.

I play as well as my name suggests... I find playing against people can be frustrating at times for me and for them. I do it on occasion but I find playing against bots to be just as much (and sometimes more) fun.
