This kind of topic is like Michael Meyers. It runs around wreaking havoc until everybody thinks it's been beaten to death, then it comes back to life later in an even stupider sequel.


But I'm throwing my hat into the naming ring with "Unreal Tournament 3.14159265", because it's more than 3, but it's not quite 4, and it can be abbreviated as UT-PI.

In my mind it's either UT3 (it just rolls off the tongue, doesn't it?) or Unreal Tournament: Das ****.

UT2004 is basicly UT2003 + Extra content, but they are however two seperate releases. But UT3 sounds just better than UT4 somehow. :bulb:

:haha::up: Nice. Maybe they can call it UTe3 where e could stand for engine. The e could be like an exponent or something at the top edge of the 3. Just throwing it out there. Or maybe the e can stand for epoch, that would fit also.:turning:

I'd like to see a move away from the current ut2kx naming as imo it doesn't sit well with longevity - if the game lasts a good year then it's name is out of date.
There would be more of a point if Epic wanted to make an update every year, but I've not heard them say they plan on doing this anymore.
