    Some UT2007 questions...

    I know a lot is still speculation and nothing is set in stone of course, but I'm just wondering if anyone might know the answers to some of these that I may not have been able to find on my own.

    1. Anyone know how the Mine-Grenade-Bio all in one Canister Gun will work yet?
    2. Is it true about the Enforcer and Impact Hammer being back?
    3. Any confirmed maps from the past apart from ONS-Torlan?
    4. Any ideas on how many maps may ship with the game?
    5. Will the game come with a newer UnrealEd?
    6. Is there any site with some more info on how the new Unreal Warfare mode will work?
    7. Will Mark Rein be a playable character?

    That'd be it.

      1. I'm assuming that it'll act like three different weapons stacked in one part of the weapons bar, but there won't be a weapon change animation.
      2. Yes, that's been confirmed several times.
      3. DM-CarbonFire, a Deck remake, ONS-Torlan2, and ONS-DownUnder.

      5. Yes.
      6. Unreal Warfare is the most nebulous mode right now. Even Epic doesn't know exactly where it's going.

        I believe they said deck 17, supposedly unchanged, though i think that is a typo (meant to be deck 16).

            I will say this, if Conquest doesn't come to fruition it sounds like they've whipped up some improvements for ONS that might do just fine.

            Personally, I don't want to see them delayed if they hang up on Conquest, when they can release a killer title many months sooner. If Conquest just isn't going to work because it's too complicated or they have too many things to work out, they should just release it in a Bonus Pack later, or maybe even make a new game for it. Just my two cents.

              ut 2004 ued is pratically the same of ut2003
              but since UED 3.0 (current one) is 4 years old, we will certainly have UED 4.0 with UE3

                I agree they shouldn't let Conquest hold up the release
                of the game. I wouldn't mind seeing the return of
                UT-Style Domination.

                  A bonus pack would be very good, but a whole new game (i.e. UT2008) would kind of anger me just like UT2004 did. I got UT2003, then all of a sudden UT2004 comes out with all this stuff and suddenly nobody plays UT2003 anymore. It wasn't until last December I got UT2004 (as it was only $10). I just hope they won't make this mistake twice.

                  Now if you meant a completely separate title like "Unreal Conquest" where all one does are those big mission maps, then that might be cool.

                  On a side note: I hope they have better support for water in this one. I love maps where one can swim around.

                    I disagree with both of you, they need to take whatever time it takes to get Warfare mode right, or they will just end up with a graphically advanced dud on their hands. I don't want a glorified Onslaught mode. Make Onslaught better, and make Warfare/Conquest something else entirely.
