Why do I need to download weird files for all servers I try to join?

Some of the files included ONSTextures, ONS-sounds, ONS-bpjw1 or something like that. I was playing earlier today just fine, and now its downloading all these files for me when Im trying to play TAM.

I downloaded the ECE bonus pack, and I have patch 3369, and now I get a run time error. Awesome.

I patched it to 3369 again and it works.... but all my configs are gone.... omgwtf
