I thought Tarydium was the weapons manufacturer of the Assault Rifle, and Tridium was the Stinger ammo. Or are they the same?

I can remember "+40 Tarydium Shards" in the first Unreal, so it must be visa versa or incorrect what you are saying.

Nah, there was never any mention of "tridium" in Unreal games. That was just something a clueless interviewer wrote down when he misheard what the Epic guy he was interviewing said.
