    Demorec time prob...

    Hey can anyone help me here?
    I have a bind that sets demorec %p-%m-(%t)-%d. I pilfered this from UTcomp and just rearranged it to suit. The problem i have is that where i have it set to put the time in, it just comes up with a bunch of numbers i.e. 182367121 instead of 17.53 or whatever.

    Can any1 xplain?

    That bunch of numbers is the time, but it's measured in a weird format. The numbers are the exact number of seconds (or minutes I forget which) since a certain time on a certain date (which I believe is midnight, January 1st 1970 but I could be wrong). I don't think you can get the actual time format you want.

      Well then why does it work in UTcomp? it uses the same settings? Just arranged slightly differently

        I don't use UT comp myself so I didn't realise it did put the proper time in, UTC must get the time from somewhere else, presumably the system clock. Vanilla UT uses the method I described and AFAIK you can't change it.
